I liked the way they tied in parts from previous seasons. I stopped watching awhile ago and missed most of the season before this one. I did watch most of this last season though, and enjoyed it a lot. Very good way to end the show.

I really enjoyed the finale a lot. As Aces said, it was neat how they tied back to so many of the earlier episodes. I thought the emotional scenes were very well acted. John Noble is simply amazing and Josh Jackson held his own against such a powerhouse.

Also - ironically - it was Walter's good-by to Astrid that really made me tear up. :blushing:

Yes John Noble was great as Walter, he was really the star of the show
He had the best scenes

that was very sweet

I did not tear up, watching it, but it was very touching to see those finale scenes

Season 4 is legitimately bad, you didn't miss much (a lot of pointless nonsense in season 4). I'm doing a rewatch of the show right now (only a few episodes into s1), and I'll probably skip a few of the early episodes of s4 since it's a whole lot of build up with very little pay off.

But ya, I liked the finale. Glad they just went with character pay offs instead of trying to force in answers that at the very end no longer matter. I do wish that Etta had of lasted longer, especially so ObserverPeter hadn't happened, but other then that I think s5 was decent.

Yup I agree.

I've enjoyed every season though season 2 was the high for me.

I've been doing a rewatch. Season 1 Episode 19 is a lot funnier the second time around. The guy who thinks William Bell is behind everything, and believes he's Spock is hilarious.

I'm still doing my rewatch. In season 4 now (ugh).

The soul-bong arc of s3 was a lot less crappy the second time around. It was just more funny then annoying this time.

Now I have 3 left...

I liked season 3. The first half of season 4 was slow and bordered on boring, but it was still better than most tv shows. I am liking season 5 too, even though its very different from the first four seasons and the villians are kind of dumb and clueless for how intelligent they are supposed to be... Its also a little rushed, but I can forgive that since they only had 13 episodes.
